Frooms is an on-demand food ordering and delivery platform. Frooms not only just connect the users and restaurants but also include the chefs into the platform where they can showcase their best dishes and costumers can also order those dishes directly from the chef.
The challenge with this product was the current competition that the market already had in the industry. The designs needed to express the platform over the whole.
Before starting with the sketches, the team analyzed the competition that was there into the niche, since that was supposed to play as the biggest factor in the marketing and reaching out to the users. The next step was user interviews and the problems they would like to eliminate while ordering their favorite food. The UX flow was decided first and then the prototypes were created.
While setting the theme, the idea was to make it as subtle as possible as most users would want the simplest experience to order. Also, the uniqueness of the platform, which was to interact directly with the chef was highlighted while designing this platform.
